Governance (management, operation, monitoring and evaluation): Regional councils are responsible for the management of the instrument.
Eligible group(s): All apprentices
Education and training eligible: The instrument funds only apprenticeship.
Financing formula and allocation mechanisms: The amounts that apprentices may receive are decided by regions. The funds are disbursed to all eligible applicants on the basis of the legal entitlement.
Eligible costs: Travel and accommodation costs.
Volumes of funding: In 2014, some EUR 39,000,000 were involved.
Beneficiaries/take up: In 2014/15, there were 405,900 apprentices. According to the national expert(s), the number of those who benefited from the grant should be more-less the same.
